Herbal Medicine Workshops
Materia Medica and Magica (the material of medicine and magic) classes are my ongoing seasonal offering. These classes are a four week-long container themed around plant allies based on the seasons and their corresponding emotional resonances. Each week we journey deep into the heart of a single herb as a class, starting our journey with a blind tasting where you meet the plant on your own terms, and then learning the practical ways to engage safely with it's medicinal properties. These classes are designed to deepen your relationship to your own body and intuition and to pay homage to the history, cultural and folkloric context of the herb.

Summer 2026: Sacred Rage
Liver health, boundary medicine, and self trust all come together in this series about sacred rage.
Online: June 5, 12, 19, 26 from 5pm-6:30pm PT $120CAD
Online students: please register by May 22, 2026 so the care packages containing the herbs reach you in time for the first session.

The onsite classes are co-facilitated with my friend and neighbor in the mews Seryna Myers. She is a Shadow Alchemy® guide, author of Sacred Anger, and devoted explorer of the parts of us that have always felt too much (or never quite enough). Through her reclamation work, she guides people into the parts of themselves they've been taught to fear, and helps them discover the medicine waiting there. From managing cold, flu, and fever to facing the shadow, this series brings in plant allies who support our becoming in the colder months.
